Swifty Refund Policy

We love our users. And we go out of our way to make them happy. That’s our baseline.

We review each refund request carefully on a case by case basis.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, we are here to help you make it work. If that doesn’t work out, we’ll look into refunding your order. Sometimes it will be a full refund. Sometimes it will be a partial refund. That depends on the situation. Basically, if it makes sense, we’ll give you a refund. It’s really that simple. Having said that, this page is written for you, to manage your expectations with regards to refunding your purchase. So grab yourself a coffee or a banana milkshake and read along.

Here are some examples of what might qualify you for a refund:

The product or service has an unforeseen conflict with another plugin or part of your setup

If a product or service has a conflict with another plugin, theme or another part of your site or setup and because of that doesn’t work the way it should or makes the other plugins or parts not function well and this can’t easily be fixed you are entitled to a refund of the purchase. This includes situations where the product or service has a problem that would have stopped you from buying it if you’d known about the problem in the first place. If you can not fix it, then let us help and fix it for you. If we can’t you are entitled to a refund of that item.

The product or service has a security vulnerability

If a product or service contains a security vulnerability and can’t easily be fixed you are entitled to a refund. If the product or service can be fixed, then we will do so promptly by updating the item. The subscription of the product or service auto-renewed unintendedly

Almost all Swifty products and services are delivered as a subscription. Mostly annual subscriptions. These are automatically renewed for you, so you can keep enjoying them. But we can understand that after a year, you might think differently about things. Or might want to reactivate at a later date. So, we offer you the opportunity to ask for a refund up to 14 days after the renewal date.

The product or service has not been activated

If you have not activated the license key of a purchased product or service and you ask for a refund within 3 months from the date of purchase, you may be eligible for a refund.

Here are some examples of what might not qualify you for a refund:

If the item is basically as described and works the way it should and we’re more than 14 days past your purchase date, there is generally no good reason to provide a refund in situations like the following:

– you’ve purchased a combo of products and services and only want to return part of the combo.

– you’ve purchased a bundle of products and services at a discount and only want to return part of the bundle (we might have to recalculate what the price would be for individual purchases or something like that).

– you’ve used the product or service for some time and then want a refund

– the website you’ve used the product or service for is no longer active (tip: you can use the license key for the remainder of the prepaid period on another website.

Resolving disputes

As we started out saying at the top of this page, we love our customers. And we hate disputes. So let’s agree to be reasonable and try to come to a fair and mutually agreeable agreement :-) But just in case things really really get out of hand, we are subject to Dutch law so Dutch law will be applied and disputes will be brought before a qualified Dutch court in the Valkenswaard area.
